This is a one year basic programme (term-time only) which aims to enable participants to explore their lives as Christians, with an emphasis on the unique calling of everyone. Men and women of all ages are welcome and no formal qualifications are required.
The Called to Life programme does not seek to provide “answers” to questions of faith, nor to provide anodyne reponses to sometimes hard and painful questions. It aims to provide a safe place where a mutual exploration of God’s action in the darkness and light of our personal journeys can occur. Through this process it is hoped that participants will gain insight into the nature of their own calling and ministry.
The learning style of this programme will be highly participatory, with no formal written work. Most sessions will be co-led by two members of the Campion House team, whose style will be that of being explorers themselves rather than experts. At the beginning of each meeting there will be a time for prayer and reflection.
